I had been putting off refreshing our kitchen because it felt way too overwhelming. As a busy working mom, I needed someone not only to help design it, but to coordinate contractors, manage the communication, andlook out for the details I'd be too busy to think of. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Laura's knack for design was cultivated at a young age in a family whose professions were based in the commercial and residential construction industries. Thanks to a recommendation from her father, who did business in Charlotte, she went on to attend University of North Carolina at Charlotte. At UNC, her lifelong passion for art and design began to take shape as a profession. Our mission is to focus on building long term trusting relationships with clients and lead them with a start-to-finish approach.

We needed to install new countertops and cabinets in 3 separate care facility homes. From our first meeting through to project completion, we could not ask for a more knowledgeable, attentive, and professional partner in this project. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Karen is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Fine Art. During her time at Clemson, she spent an extended time in Italy studying art and architecture history. After college, Karen moved to Charlotte and began working in the banking industry. After several years in banking, Karen decided to jump back into art and design by earning a minor in Interior Design from Queens University. For the last 8 years, she has worked with her dear friend and collaborator Elizabeth Klosterman with Elizabeth Klosterman Design Studio.
